All sorts of breads, cookies, pastries, pies, etc. The recipes are concise and everything is done by mass so you're not left wondering if a cup of brown sugar is supposed to be poofy or compressed into diamond. It's a great resource.

Aren't they employee owned, too? I use King Arthur for my pizza dough.

Woah buddy. I love KA. Great website. And they have a hotline if your baking adventure goes to shit.

I use this brand for gluten free flour but I had no idea they had so many celiac safe recipes posted as well. Thank you for sharing!

Be super careful though. I use weight measurements because for baking it's more accurate and a good portion of their recipes by weight are substantially different than by volume. To the point that the recipe works if you do by volume but falls apart if you do by weight. So triple check the measurements and make sure they make sense because they're sometimes just flat wrong if you do by weight

Good to know. I've been doing everything by mass so far and haven't hit any problems, but I'm sure there are some surprises lurking around.

I've used their sourdough bread recipe every week since someone on the old sub linked it to me.

KA is great and they’re extremely specific. I like some timing flexibility so I’ll usually hop around different recipes and split the difference where I feel I can.

Beyond that it’s a good company too, if not a coop employee owned iirc.

I made yeast potato rolls from their website for my girlfriend on Thanksgiving and they turned out insanely fucking good. I actually forgot to add eggs but the mashed potatoes had a little extra water in them so it worked out just fine but I feel like their directions are the most succinct. I also love that I don't have to scroll through 1500 words of bullshit people put in for search engine optimization and ad space.
